Homopolymer POM: melting point 175~183ºC, crystallization 75~85%, tensile strength 70MPa, elongation at break: 40%, molding shrinkage 2.0~2.5%.
Copolymerized POM: melting point 160~165ºC, crystallization 70~75%, tensile strength 62MPa, elongation at break: 60%, molding shrinkage 2.5~3.0%.
It has a high heat distortion temperature:
the continuous use temperature is about 100°C, but its thermal stability is poor, and it needs to be modified
by adding heat stabilizers, antioxidants, and formaldehyde absorbents.
(Thermal deformation is a physical category, and thermal stability is a chemical category)
Good low temperature resistance:
the glass transition temperature is -40~60°C, depending on the molecular weight.
Excellent insulation performance:
Even in high temperature and high humidity environment, it can still maintain good arc resistance performance.
Good oil resistance:
high resistance to grease and organic solvents.
Low water absorption:
no more than 0.3%, moisture has little effect on molding processing, no need to dry.
